We had a great time at the Wellington Transition Expo at Weltec on Saturday 13 May. The event was hosted by New Zealand Disability Support Network and was The aim of the expo is to provide young people and parents with information on different possibilities for life after school, such as employment, further study, vocational programmes and housing.
A good number of people came through and the feeling was that the venue worked well and being a Saturday meant more parents who may have been working during the week were able to come through with their young people.
