Last week I completed my largest Be. Welcome assessment to date.
Eight hours inside North City Shopping Centre in Porirua and I didn’t go shopping! Instead, I spent the day assessing all the public areas within the Mall. The assessment also includes reviewing the website and customer service as well as looking at how people get to the facility, both driving and using public transport.
I took lots of photos to jog my memory as I write the report which will take almost as long as the assessment itself. This will then be presented back to the organization along with their assessment rating.
If you would like to know more about the Be. Welcome program or have your business assessed, you can book an assessment online and have one of the Be. Coaches work with you to help your business become more accessible.
