We had a successful two days with our supplier, Rob Drummond over from Quantum in Sydney demonstrating the new OrCam MyEye text to speech camera.
We met with staff from Workbridge and the Blind Foundation as well as Optometrist Andrew Black and both public demonstrations were well attended. The highlight had to be meeting with a client who owns a Child Care Centre and seeing the delight on her face when she was able to read a page of text. She decided straight away to buy one.
