Access 2020: Accessibility in New Zealand Today

There are over one million New Zealanders currently living with an access need in our communities today and for many, access to essential services and public activities and events is limited.

This results not only in a lack of equity but also represents a huge amount of wasted talent, ideas, potential customers, and economic contributions that New Zealand is missing out on due to inaccessibility.

Be.Lab worked with the research agency, Cogo, on the Access 2020 Survey to gain a deeper understanding of which aspects of society are least accessible, and where the biggest improvements can be made.
